Vanconol® amine TOH is an alkyl imidazoline structured organic intermediate with exceptional thermal stability. As an unneutralized hydrophobic amine, it is highly soluble in organic solvents, non-polar solvents, and mineral oil. The unique imidazoline ring structure allows it to form strong ion-bonds with polar substances, creating a dense molecular film on surfaces such as metals, plastics, glass, and minerals, effectively converting hydrophilic surfaces to hydrophobic ones.
