Vanconol® amine TOH is an alkyl imidazoline structured organic intermediate with excellent thermal stability. In its unneutralized state, it is hydrophobic and soluble in organic solvents, non-polar solvents, and mineral oils, while exhibiting limited solubility in water.
When neutralized as a salt, Vanconol® amine TOH remains stable under acidic conditions, reducing surface tension in pickling solutions and enhancing wettability. Its cationic and dispersing properties make it ideal for surface modification of powder materials.

Bitumen (Asphalt): Enhances adhesion between asphalt and aggregate (sand, gravel, ash). Provides resistance against floods, acid rain, and corrosion, especially for high-quality engineering like airport runways.
Rubber Processing: Functions as a retarder for fast-curing butyl rubbers to reduce scorching, an accelerator for other rubbers, and a softening agent in acid emulsion polymerization.
Antistatic Agents: Neutralized or quaternized salts form a continuous conducting film on fiber and plastic surfaces, dissipating static friction during production.
Flotation: Effective in removing silica traces from gypsum (for glass ceramics), low-grade iron ores, and barite.
Paints & Inks: Improves paint adhesion to wet surfaces and enhances waterproofing. Acts as a high-stability dispersant for water-based industrial coatings and pastes.
Storage: Keep sealed in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area at room temperature. Keep away from fire sources.
