Chemical Composition: Tall oil based hydroxyethyl imidazoline
Cas No: 61791-39-7 | EINECS: 263-171-2
Vanconol® amine TOH is an alkyl imidazoline structured organic intermediate with excellent thermal stability. As a hydrophobic intermediate, it is soluble in organic solvents, non-polar solvents, and mineral oil. The imidazoline ring structure enables strong adsorption on metals, fibers, plastics, glass, and mineral surfaces, converting hydrophilic surfaces into hydrophobic ones through a dense molecular film.

Key Applications
Bitumen (Asphalt)
Enhances adhesion with sand, gravel, and ash in high-quality asphalt for airport runways and highways. Provides resistance to flood, acid rain, and corrosion even on wet surfaces.
Rubber Processing
Acts as a retarder for fast-curing butyl rubbers to reduce scorching, a curing accelerator, and a softening/plasticizing agent.
Antistatic Agents
Neutralized salts form a continuous conducting film on fiber and plastic surfaces to eliminate static friction during production.
Flotation & Paints
Used for removing silica from iron ores and gypsum. In paints, it improves water-proofing and dispersion stability for industrial coatings and inks.
Handling, Packing & Delivery
This product should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area at room temperature, away from fire sources.
Packing: 200ml bottle, 25kg plastic drum, 200kg iron drum
