Product Description

This is a water-thinnable, solventless emulsion based on a mixture of silane and siloxane. Dilute solutions serve as high-quality, general-purpose water repellents for impregnating and priming mineral surfaces. It can also be used for the mass treatment of non-load bearing concrete products.

Typical Applications

Excellent water repellent for many absorbent mineral substrates, such as bricks, sand-lime brick, natural sandstone and mineral plasters. It is ideal for in-plant impregnation of building materials made of clay, aerated concrete, fibrous cement, mineral fibers, and lightweight aggregate.

It may also serve as a water-repellent primer for emulsion paints and plasters, silicone resin emulsion paints, and silicone resin plasters.

Usage & Application

Preparation: Tap water is suitable for preparing solutions. We recommend an active substance content of 5-10% (dilute the product in the ratio 1:5 to 1:11), depending on substrate absorbency.

Application: Apply ready-to-use solution by flooding. Two "wet on wet" coats are needed to ensure complete coverage. If it starts raining, stop treatment and cover freshly impregnated areas.

Mass Impregnation: For concrete products, a dosage between 0.1 to 1.0% of the 10% dilution is recommended relative to overall mass.

Frequently Asked Questions
What substrates is this waterproofing agent best suited for?
It is ideal for absorbent mineral substrates including bricks, sand-lime brick, natural sandstone, mineral plasters, and aerated concrete.
How should the product be diluted for use?
It can be diluted with tap water at a ratio of 1:5 to 1:11, targeting an active substance content of 5% to 10% depending on the substrate's absorbency.
Can it be used on reinforced concrete for roads or bridges?
It is less suitable for dense natural stones like limestone or marble, and reinforced concrete used for heavy traffic infrastructure like bridges and roads.
Is this product environmentally friendly?
Yes, it is a water-based, solventless emulsion that is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
What is the recommended application method?
The preferred method is flooding or spraying. Two "wet on wet" coats should be applied to ensure the surface is completely covered.
What is the shelf life and storage requirement?
The shelf life is 12 months when stored in closed containers. It should be kept away from children and fire sources.
