Product Overview

A high-performance water reducer in the plasticizer category, the naphthalene-based variant is an anionic surfactant made from industrial naphthalene via chemical processes like sulfonation, condensation, and neutralization. Its key component, naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate, makes it one of the most prevalent concrete admixtures.

Key Features

High Water Reduction Rate: 15%~25%, significantly lowering the water-cement ratio and enhancing concrete strength.
Strength Enhancement Increases compressive strength by 20%~40%, with notable early-stage strength development.
Improved Workability Enhances concrete fluidity, facilitating pumping and placement.
Retarding Effect Extends initial setting time by 1~3 hours, beneficial for summer construction.
Low Air Entrainment Air content typically <3%, ensuring no adverse impact on concrete durability.
Broad Compatibility Compatible with most cement types, though trial tests are recommended for certain mineral admixtures.

Application Scope

  • Construction Projects: Cast-in-place concrete, precast components
  • Infrastructure Projects: Roads, bridges, tunnels, water conservancy
  • Special Concrete: High-strength (C50+), pumping, mass concrete
  • Precast Elements: Pipe piles, sleepers, segments
  • Special Construction: High-temperature environments, long-distance transportation

Usage & Packaging

Method of use:
Powder: Mix well with cement, sand, and stone, then add water. Adding the admixture in the last step is preferred.
Liquid: Adding the admixture as the final step provides the best results.

Packaging and Shipping:
Powder is packed in plastic-lined woven bags or paper bags (25/40kg net weight). Liquid is available in 200kg or 1000kg barrels, or bulk transport tankers. Protect from moisture and prevent leakage during transport.
